Barnard H. Damon to S.D. McIntosh

This Indenture made this Twenty third day of October in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty two Between
Barnard H. Damon and Lucy J. Damon of the Town of Farmersville
County of Cattaraugus & State of New York of the first part
and S.D. McIntosh of the second part Witnesseth That the
said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of Three
Hundred Dollars ($300 00/100) Dollars have sold and by these
Presents do grant and convey to the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land
situate in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and
described as follows the North East quarter of the North East
quarter of Section ten in township 8 South of Range twenty one
east containing forty acres more or less together with all
and singular the rights privileges and dower and right of
dower and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining to the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns forever this grant is intended as a security for the payment
of a promissory note given by the said Barnard H. Damon Running to
S.D. McIntosh for three Hundred Dollars bearing date October
twenty first 1882 running one year and due one year from date
Provided always always that if the said Barnard H. Damon shall well
and truly pay the said note to the said party of the second part
and this conveyance shall be void if such payment be made as herein
specified. And in case default Shall be made in payment of the
principal sum hereby intended to be secured or in the payment of
the interest thereof or any part of such principal or interest as
above provided it shall be lawful for the party of the second part
his Executors Administrators or assigns at anytime thereafter to
sell the premises hereby granted or any part thereof in the manner
