by the Peninsula Rail Road and containing Ninety five and fifty
three one hundredths (95 53/100) acres more or less Together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
To have and to hold the same unto the said Francis Rabbeth and to his
heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute forever
Provided however and these presents are upon this express condition that
if the said Samuel L. Hawthorne or his heirs or assigns shall well and
truly pay or cause to be paid the sum of money covenanted to be paid
by said note together with the interest to accrue thereon according to the
legal tenor thereof then this obligation shall become null and void else
to remain in full force and virtue. And it is hereby further agreed and
stipulated that the said Samuel L. Hawthorn will pay all costs and
attorneys fees which the said Francis J. Rabbeth may be put to in enforcing
the collection of the aforesaid sum of money covenanted to be paid by said
note by foreclosure or otherwise. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed my seal on this 10th day of March AD 1882

on this 24th day of March AD 1882, Witnesseth that
Burrell Read in Consideration of the Sum of Two
hundred and fifty dollars now due J.A. Williams
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by
these presents doth grant bargain sell & Convey unto
the said J.A. Williams his heirs and assigns all the
right title interest & claim of the said Burrell Read
his executors & administrators of in & to all the crops
of whatsoever species kind or description now
growing or which may hereafter at any time in
the future be planted grown or gathered by me
