South along the western boundary of the lot now owned by
         Witte Brothers of Charleston South Carolina Four hundred and
         twenty (420) feet thence west Four hundred and twenty (420)
         feet Thence north Four hundred and twenty (420) feet
         thence East Four hundred and twenty (420) feet to point
         of beginning Containing Four (4) Acres more or less
         Together with all and Singular the tenements hereditaments and
         appurtenances thereunto belonging to have and to hold the
         Same unto the Said Fielding P. Chamberlain in fee simple
         absolute forever Provided however and these presents are
         upon this express Condition that if the Said Josephine Kibby
         and Edward O. Kibby their heirs or assigns shall well and
         truly pay or cause to be paid the Sum of money Covenanted
         to be paid by Said note together with interest to accrue
         thereon according to the legal tenor therof then this obligation
         Shall become null and void else to remain in full force and
         Virtue. And it is hereby further agreed and stipulated 
         that the said Josephine Kibby and Edward O. Kibby
         will pay all expenses Costs and attorneys fees which the Said
         Fielding P. Chamberlain may be put to in enforcing
         the Collection of the aforesaid sum of money covenanted
         to be paid by Said note by foreclosure or otherwise

                           I hereby certify that on this 9th day of
         December AD 1882 before me personally appeared Mrs
         Josephine Kibby wife of Edward O. Kibby the granter in
         the foregoing Conveyance who being first duly questioned
         and examined by me separate and apart from her Said
         husband Says and acknowledges before me that she did
         Sign the Said Conveyance for the purpose of releasing
         relinquishing and renouncing all of her right of Separate
         property in and to the land in Said conveyance described
         and that Said relinquishment and renunciation of
         Separate property was done and made by her voluntarily
         and without any compulsion constraint apprehension
         or fear of or from her said husband
