Alachua County } Know all men by these presents that whereas
I Adam Welsh am indebted Monin Peterman the Sum of
one hundred as represented by my promissory note bearing
even date herewith and being desirous of Securing the Said Monin Peterman the
payment of Said promissory note or Mortgage therefore in consideration of the
premises and of the sum of Five dollars to me in hand paid by the Said
Monin Peterman the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged I have
this day granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and Convey unto the said Monin Peterman One bay mare
about years old and the colt now following and suckling Said
Mare and a two year old Calf Dark bay or Iron Gray to have and to
hold the above described property unto the Said Monin Peterman
& to his heirs and assigns forever The condition of the above
obligation is such that if the said Adam Welsh will well and truly
pay or cause to be paid his certain promissory note herein above described accor-
ding to its tenor and effect and will well and truly pay all attorneys fees and Costs
that the parties may be put to in collecting the Same then this Mortgage
is null and void note to be of no effect Witness my hand and Seal this
