State of Florida } Whereas we Rosanna Hills and John E. Hills her
Alachua County } husband of Gainesville in Alachua County Fla are
indebted unto Joseph W. Coburn of the City of Boston State of
Massachusetts by our promissory note bearing date with these presents in
the sum of One Hundred and Seventy ($17000) Dollars payable one year
after date and bearing interest from date at the rate of Twelve (12)
per cent per annum, which said promissory note was this day made
and delivered by us for cash loaned to us by the said J.W. Coburn to
enable us to pay up the purchase money due by us on the land
hereinafter described: and we being desirous of fully and effectually
securing the payment of the promissory note- Therefore know all men
by these presents that we the said Rosanna Hills and John E. Hills
her husband for and in consideration of the premises and of the said sum
of One Hundred and seventy Dollars so loaned to us as aforesaid have
granted bargained sold conveyed and Mortgaged: and by these presents
do grant bargain sell convey and Mortgage unto him the said
Joseph W. Coburn all that certain piece parcel tract or lot of
land situated lying and being in the North Western portion of the
Town of Gainesville in Alachua County in the State of Florida particularly
known and described as being Lot Sixteen (16) in the North West

satisfaction and Cancellation of this mortgage this the
