 S.V. Collins and A.J. Collins to W.A. Colclough
                     "Mortgage"
State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Whereas We Sarah V. Collins and
A.J. Collins are justly indebted to W.A. Colclough
in the sum of Sixty four dollars which said
sum of money is covenanted to be paid by our
certain promissory note, bearing even date herewith
one for the sum of Sixty four dollars payable Twelve
months after date with interest at the rate of ten per
cent pr annum And whereas we are desirous of fully
and better securing the payment of said note, and
the sum of money mentioned therein. Therefore, know
all men by these presents that we Sarah V. Collins
and A.J. Collins for and in consideration of the
premises and of the sum of one dollar to them in
hand paid, have granted, bargained and sold and
by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey
unto the said W.A. Colclough, his heirs and assigns,
all the following described piece, parcel or tract of land
to Wit: lying and being in the Town of Coulterville in
Alachua County and State of Florida more particularly
described according to the platt or map of Coulterville
as follows: Lot Nos Eight (8) and Nine (9) Lot Eight fronts
one hundred feet on west Street and one hundred
feet deep Lot Nine fronts one hundred feet on Lot
Eight and one hundred feet deep. Together with
all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and apurt-
enances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the same
unto the said W.A. Colclough in fee simple absolute
forever Provided, however and these presents are upon this
express condition that if the said Sarah V. Collins and
A.J. Collins heirs or assigns shall well and truly pay or
cause to be paid the sum of money covenanted to be paid
by said note together with the interest to accrue thereon
according to the legal tenor thereof then this obligation
shall become null and void, else to remain in full force
and virtue. And it is hereby further agreed and stip
ulated that the said Sarah V. Collins and A.J. Collins
will pay all expenses, costs and attorneys fees which the

      and discharge of this mortgage this the 2nd day of January AD 1884.
