City of Baltimore SS } Be it known that on this thirtieth
day of December AD 1882, personally appeared before me Murry
Hanson a Commissioner of the State of Florida Louisa C. Burge
to me well known as the person described in and who executed
the foregoing instrument and acknowledged that she executed the same
for the purpose there in expressed, whereupon it is prayed that the
same may be recorded. In witness whereof I have hereunto affixed
my hand and official seal this thirtieth day of December AD 1882

"Mortgage"
This indenture made and entered into this 22nd day of
December AD 1882 between James D. Dancy for and in consideration
of the sum of One Hundred and seven 50/100 Dollars to him paid
the receipt of which is truly acknowledged have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell
and convey to the said Bauknight one Bay horse known
as the Ned Stinson horse Brand T on the fore shoulder
and one Mare Blaze face chesnut collar and one buggie
and one Two horse Iron axel wagon and all crops of any
description grown the year 1883 by the said Dancy to have
and to hold to the said Bauknight her heirs and assigns
together with all my right and title and interest whatso-
ever in the same the condition of this instrument of writing
is that if I the said Dancy shall pay to Me two certain
promissory notes dated December 22 1882, one for Twenty
five Dollars and payable on the first day of March 1883 and one
for Eighty two 50/100 and payable on the 1st day
of November AD 1883 according to the tenor and effect
thereof then this instrument to be void otherwise to remain
in full force an virtue Witness my hand and seal this
day and year above written.
