Alachua County } This indenture made and entered into
this Nov 10th 1882 between J.W. Smith and Annie F. Smith
parties of the first part and Jno J. Barr party of the second
part witness that the parties of the first part in consideration
of the sum of fifteen Hundred dollars the receipt of which
is here by acknowledged have given granted bargained &
sold and do hereby grant bargain and sell unto the party
of the second part and do hereby convey unto him the
following property to wit: One House and lot in the
town of Micanopy and bounded as follows on the East
by Mrs P.E. Smith on the south by the Baptist Church
and Dr L. Montgomery on the west by Willie Smith
and on the north by M. Shiretzki the said Lot containing
one Acre of land also ten acres of land in Section
thirty one of Township Eleven and Range twenty one
and lying immediately on the public road leading
to Micanopy Depot from Micanopy and bounded on
the north by W.F. Shuford East by John Evans south
by Coleman Winecoff and West by Thos McCredie and
containing ten acres of land More or less to have
and to hold with the appurtenances and all the
right title and interest of the first part therein
This grant is intended as a security for the pay-
ment of fifteen hundred Dollars in one note
payable January 1st 1884 and drawn with even date
of this indenture and without interest, which payment
if duly made will render this conveyance void,
and if default shal be made in the payment of the
same then the said party of the second part his
