    Amelia Legare to Richard A. Harrison

State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Whereas Mrs Amelia Legare of the town of
Waldo Alachua County State of Florida is justly indebted to
Richard A. Harrison of the City of New York State of New
York in the sum of Sixteen hundred and fifty dollars which
said sum of money is warranted to be paid by Three certain
promissory note, bearing even date herewith one for the sum of Five
Hundred and Fifty ($55000) dollars Twelve months from date, one
For Five Hundred and fifty ($55000) dollars Two years from
date one for Five Hundred and fifty dollars, three years from
date all of said notes with interest from date at six per cent
per annum and whereas she is desirous of fully and better
securing the payment of said note and the sum of money mentioned
therein. Therefore, know all men by these presents, that I Amelia
Legare for and in consideration of the premises and of the sum
of one dollar to me in hand paid have granted bargained and
sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said Richard A. Harrison his heirs and assigns all
the following described piece parcel Tract of land lying and
being in The Town Waldo Alachua County State of Florida
and described on Plat of said Town as Lot four (4) Lot
five (5) Lot six (6) Lot seven (7) and Lot Eight (8) in Block
Ten (10) of said Town of Waldo upon which the Waldo House
now stands and and also all the Furniture and every
thing used and belonging in and to the said Waldo House
 Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and to hold the same unto
the said Richard A. Harrison in fee simple absolute forever
  Provided hoever and these presents are upon this express con-
dition that if the said Amelia Legare her heirs or assigns
shall well and truly pay, or cause to be paid the sum of
money covenanted to be paid by said notes together with the
interest to accrue thereon according to the legal tenor
thereof then this obligation shall become null and void
else to remain in full force and virtue and is hereby further
agreed and stipulated that the said Amelia Legare her
heirs or assigns will pay all expenses cost and attorneys
fees which the said Richard A. Harrison his heirs or assigns
may be put to in enforcing the collection of the aforesaid
sum of money covenanted to be paid by said notes by fore-
closure or otherwise In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my seal on this Twenty seventh
day of December AD 1882
