   This indenture made the first day of January in the year
of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Eight three
between Silvester Bronson Bryant of the county of Levy
and State of Florida, party of the first part and Margaret
A. Smith of the County of Robertson and State of Texas party of the
second part  Witnesseth That the said party of the first 
part for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred
dollars lawful  money of the United States to him in hand paid
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the party of the
Second part hath granted bargained sold aliened relea-
sed, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant
bargain, sell, alien release convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and to her heirs and assigns forever
All that certain tract piece or parcel of land situate lying and
being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and known
and described as follows To Wit: The south half of the south
half of the south west quarter of Section Seventeen Township Ten
South: Range Fourteen East containing Forty acres more or less.
The said tract or parcel of land being the premises this day
conveyed to the said Silvester Bronson Bryant by the said
Margaret A. Smith and these presents are given to secure
the payment of part of the consideration money of the said premises
together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion
and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits
thereof and Also all the right title estate, interest, dower poss-
session, claim and demand whatever of the said party of the
first part of in and to the same and every part thereof with
the appurtenances. To have and To hold the same hereby granted
premises with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second
part her heirs and assigns to her and their only proper use
benefit and behoof for ever  Provided always and these
