dollars the sum being the purchase money agreed to be paid
by the parties of the first to the parties of the second part for the
tract of land hereinbefore described and whereas the said parties
of the first part have this day delivered the aforesaid promissory
notes to the said parties of the second part and thereby promised
to pay the said parties of the second part the said several
sums of money mentioned in the said promissory notes with
interest as aforesaid. Now if the said parties of the first part
shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said
parties of the second part the said several sums of money mentioned
in the said promissory notes Together with the accrued interest
thereon at or before the maturity of the said notes severally
then this conveyance to become and be entirely null and void
otherwise to remain in full force, virtue and effect In testimony
whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their
hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above

 Alachua County  } I hereby certify that on this 5th
day of January AD 1883 before me personally came Mrs
Hattie A. Veich and W.H. Veich her husband the mortgagors in
the foregoing mortgage deed who say and acknowledge in
my presence that they executed the said mortgage deed for
the uses and purposes therein set forth And the said Mrs
Hattie A. Veich upon being duly questioned and examined
by me seperate and apart from her said husband further
Says and acknowledges in my presence that she did the same
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband.
