in the sum of one Hundred and Thirty dollars which
said sum of money is covenanted to be paid by a certain
promissory note bearing even date herewith one for the sum
of one Hundred & thirty dollars, whereas we are desirous
of fully and better securing the payment of said note and
the sum of money mentioned therein Therefore know all
men by these presents that Thompson A. Trapp & Anthony
Trapp for and in consideration of the premises and of
the sum of one dollar to them in hand paid have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents do grant
bargain and sell and convey unto the said Harriet Williams
her heirs and assigns all the following described piece
parcel or tract of land to wit: All the crops of every kind
that said Thompson A. Trapp and Anthony Trapp may
Make on said Anthony Trapp Place also one Bay Filley
Two years old Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, 
To have and to hold the same unto the said Harriet Williams
in fee simple absolute forever. Provided however and these
presents are upon this express condition that if the said
Thompson A. Trapp and Anthony Trapp heirs or assigns shall
well and truly pay or cause to be paid the sum of money cov-
enanted to be paid by said note together with the interest
to accrue thereon according to the legal tenor thereof then
this obligation shall become null and void else to remain
in full force and virtue and it is hereby further agreed and
stipulated that the said Thompson A. Trapp and Anthony
Trapp will pay all expenses costs and attorneys fees which
the said Harriet Williams may be put to in enforcing
the collection of the afore said sum of money covenanted
to be paid by said note by foreclosure or otherwise In
witness whereof we have hereunto set our hand and affixed
our seal on this 5th day of January AD 1883
