and that she joined in the said deed for the purpose
of relinquishing and renouncing all dower or right
of dower in and to the premises described therein and
that said relinquishment and renunciation of dower was
and is made freely and voluntarily and without any
compulsion or constraint apprehension or fear of or
from her husband the said Jackson Brower

  Washington Chapel to Harriet Williams
             "Mortgage"
Stste of Florida }
Alachua County   } Whereas Washington Chapel
and his wife Emma Chappel justly indebted to
Harriet Williams in the sum of one Hundred
& ten dollars which said sum of money is cov-
enanted to be paid by a certain promissory note
bearing even date herewith one for the sum of One
Hundred and ten dollars And whereas desirous
of fully and better securing the payment of said note
and the sum of money mentioned herein Therefore know
all men by these presents that Washington Chappell
and his wife Emma Chappel for and in consid-
eration of the premises and the sum of one dollar
to them in hand paid have granted bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said Harriet Williams his heirs and assigns
all the following described piece parcel or tract of
land to wit: The north west quarter of the South
east quarter Section Thirty two (32) Township Ten
(10) South of Range eighteen (18) East containing Forty
acres and three hundreths of an acre also all the
crops of every kind that the said Washington Chappel
may make on said land and also one Grey Mare
  Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and to hold the same unto
the said Harriet Williams in fee simple absolute forever Provided
however and these presents are up this express condition that if
the said Washington Chappel and his wife Emma Chappel heirs
or assigns shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid the
sum of money covenanted to be paid by said note together
with the interest to accrue thereon according to the legal tenor

For and in consideration of the full payment of the sum of
money secured to be paid by this mortgage I hereby cancel
 and discharge the same from record on this March 17th 1900
