Walter Glover to Benjamin Rush

Alachua County } Know all men by these presents
that whereas Walter Glover of the above State and County
is indebted to Benjamin Rush of the same State and
County in the sum of ninty four dollars which said sum
is covenanted to be paid by a certain Promissory note bearing
date January 5th 1883 and for the said sum of ninty four
dollars bearing interest at the rate of Eight per cent per annum
now therefore to better secure the payment of said note and
interest as expressed therein I do by these presents grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said Benjamin
Rush his heirs and assigns all my right title interest
and claim of in and to all the crops of whatsoever species
kind or description now growing or which may hereafer=
be planted grown or gathered by me or for me or for
my benefit on or off of any and all lands in Alachua
County Florida Also the following described property
to wit: One Black Mare about seven years old, also one
dove colored Steer and one wagon. To have and to hold
all and singular the crops, lands, and personal property
above bargained and sold unto the said Benjamin
Rush his heirs executors and administrators and assigns forever
Provided nevertheless that if the said Walter Glover should well and
truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Benjamin Rush the
full amount of said Note together with all the interest according to its
tenor and effect then this instrument to be void else to remain in
full force and virtue And it is hereby further agreed that if it
should be necessary to enforce this instrument by legal pro-
ceedings the said Walter Glover will pay therefore all attorneys fees
charges and expenses In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed my seal this 5th day of January
