presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party
of the second all that certain lot tract piece or parcel of land
lying and being situate in the State and County aforesaid and
in the town of Gainesville particularly described as follows to wit:
Beginning at the north west corner of Lot number Eight (8) in
Bush's addition to the town of Gainesville and running thence
East along the northern boundary line of said Lot One Hundred
and twenty five (125) feet Thence South one hundred (100)
feet thence west one hundred and thirty (135) feet to the Western
boundary line of said Lot Thence north along said Western
boundary line Two hundred (200) feet to the point of beginning
Together with all the right privileges and appurtenances to the
same belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold
the same unto the said party of the second part and to his
heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee Simple absolute.
   The condition of this conveyance is such that whereas the said
parties of the first part have this day made and delivered to
to the said party of the second part their joint and several
promissory note bearing even date with these presents and
bearing interest at the rate of Eight per cent per annum from
the date thereof for the sum of one hundred & thirty eight 23/100
dollars, and have delivered the same to the said party of
the second part and Thereby promised to pay the said part
of the second part the said sum of money mentioned in
the said promissory note. Now if the said parties of the first
part shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto
the said party of the second part the said sum of money
mentioned in the said promissory note together with the
accrued interest thereon at or before the maturity of the said
note according to the true intent and tenor Thereof Then
this conveyance shall become and be entirely null and void,
otherwise to continue in full force virtue and effect.

hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and
year first above written.      }

Alachua Florida  } I hereby certify that on this 8th day of
January AD 1883, before me personally appeared Mrs
Charlotte E. Mayo and A.D. Mayo her husband the Mortg-
agers in the foregoing Mortgage deed who say and
acknowledge in my presence that they executed the said
Mortgage deed for the uses and purposes therein set forth

final discharge and Cancellation of this Mortgage
