age being duly sworn according to Law saith that she
is the Mortgagee named in the foregoing chattel Mortgage;
from John C. Baxley to her self that the true consideration
thereof is for the purchase money of a horse and that the
amount due and to grow due thereon is thereon is the sum
of Seventy five dollars and ___ cents with interest on
on the same from the fifth day of January AD 1883
which constitutes her interest in the goods and chattels

who I am satisfied is the grantor in the within Deed
of conveyance named and I having first made known
to him the contents thereof he did then acknowledge that
he signed, sealed, and delivered the same as his vol
untary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein
expressed. And the said being by me privately examined
seperate and apart from ___ husband, did further
acknowledge that ____ signed sealed and delivered the same
as ________ voluntary act and and deed Freely without any
fear, threats or compulsion of said husband
