covenanted to be paid by our certain promissory note bearing even
date herewith for the sum of Two hundred and sixty one Dollars and
due and payable on the first day of August AD 1884 with interest
from date at the rate of one per cent per month, and whereas we
are desirous of fully and better securing the payment of said note
and the sum of money mentioned therein. Therefore know all men
by these presents that we D. Lina Roberts and C.B. Roberts her hus-
band for and in consideration of the premises and of the sum
of one dollar to us in hand paid have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and con-
vey unto the said G.D. Younglove their heirs and assigns all
the following described piece parcel or tract of land to wit:
the South west quarter of the north west quarter
SW1/4 of NW1/4) of section Thirty six (36) Township Ten (10)
Range Eighteen (18) South and east, Reserving fifteen feet
on the East and Twelve and one half feet on the south
of said land for a public highway all lying and
being in Alachua County State of Florida Together with
all and singular the tenement hereditament and appurtenan
ces thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the same unto
the said G.D. Younglove & Son in fee simple absolute
forever. Provided however and these presents are upon
this express consideration that of the said D. Lina
Roberts and C.B. Roberts her husband their heirs or
assigns shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid
the sum of money covenanted to be paid by said note
together with The interest to accrue hereon according
to the legal tenor thereof then this obligation shall
become null and void Else to remain in full force
and virtue, and it is hereby further agreed and stip
ulated that the said D. Lina Roberts and C.B. Roberts her
husband will pay all expenses costs and attorneys fees
which the said G.D. Younglove & Son may be put
to in enforcing the collection of the aforesaid sum of 
money covenanted to be paid by said note by foreclosure
or otherwise In witness whereof we have hereunto set
our hands and affixed our seals on the 24th day of

and examined by me seperate and apart from her said
