where I am now planting or may plant during the year
1882 and all the crop or crops which I may hereafter raise
or in any manner controll to have and to hold the said Mule
and crops for his own proper use benefit and behoof forever
& I hereby waive covenant and renounce all and every Consti-
tutional right or privilege which I may have in and to the
said Mule and crops both in Law & Equity to the said Michael
McCarroll & his heirs forever The Condition of this obligation
is Such that if the said Kiah Woodward shall well and truly
pay or cause to be paid the above described note at maturity
together with all cots and trouble for Collecting the Same then and
in that Case this obligation Shall cease determine and
have no effect otherwise to remain in full force & virtue.

Alachua County   } Whereas I Robert H. Hawkins of the
aforesaid Sate and County are indebted unto Joseph W.
Coburn of the City of Boston in the State of Massa-
chusetts in the Sum of Six hundred and Sixty Six
$666.00 Dollars by my promisory note bearing even date
with these presents and payable (4) four years after the
date thereof and bearing interest from its date at the rate
of (10) ten per Cent per annum until paid and whereas
the said sum of money was loaned to me by the said Jo-
seph W. Coburn for the purpose of enabling me to Culti-
vate my Orange Grove and to carry on my farming asp-
erations and to cultivate and improve the Lands herein
after described- and being desirous of fully and am-
ply securing the payment of the said loan of Money
