husband says and acknowledges before me that she did
sign the said conveyance for the purpose of releasing relinq-
uishing and renouncing all of her right of separate estate in

    This Indenture made the third day of August in
the year AD 1882, between Mary S. Sheats and William
N. Sheats her husband of Alachua County Florida parties
of the first part and Charles W. Brush and Julia
A Van Ness     The former of the State of California and
the latter of the State of New York parties of the
second part witnesseth that the parties of the first part
in consideration of the sum of Five hundred and fifty
Dollars by them owing to said parties of the second part
Have granted bargained sold aliened released and
confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell
alien release and confirm to the said parties of the
second part and their assigns forever all that certain
parcel of land situate lying and being in Brushes
