Alachua County   } Whereas I Samuel J. Burnett
and James H. Roper all of Gainesville in Alachua
County State of Florida are jointly and severally
indebted unto Moses Kessel of Brooklyn E.D. State
of New York as Trustee for the Estate of J.H. Burgheim
deceased in the aggregate sum of Three Thous-
and Dollars represented by three (3) certain promissory
notes Made and delivered by the said Samuel J.
Burnett and James H. Roper unto the said Moses
Kessel as trustee Each of said the promissory notes
bearing even dates with these presents and each
of said notes being for the sum of one
thousand Dollars the first of said notes
being payable one year after the date thereof the
second of said notes being payable Two years
after the date thereof and the third of said
note being payable three years after the date
thereof: and each of the said three promissory notes
bearing interest from date at the rate of Eight
(.08) per cent per annum said interest being pay
able semi annually and whereas said three
promissory notes were given for the purchase money
of the property hereafter described and whereas I
Ida E. Burnett to whom the said property herein
after described has been conveyed am desirous
of fully and effectually securing the payment of said
three promissory notes so made and delivered by my
said husband Samuel J. Burnett and James H.
Roper for the purchase money of said property.
    Therefore the premises considered Know all men
men by these presents that I the said Ida E.
Burnett together with the said Samuel J. Burnett
her husband and for and in consideration of the
premises and the said aggregate sum of Three
thousand Dollars represented by said three prom
issory notes so owing as aforesaid for the
purchase money of the property hereafter des-
cribed have granted bargained sold aliened
conveyed and mortgaged: and by these presents
do grant bargain sell alien convey and mortgage
unto him the said Moses Kessel as Trustee for the
Estate of said J.H. Burgheim deceased all of
those certain Lots tracts pieces or parcels of land
situated lying and being in the town of Gaines-
ville, in Alachua County in the State of Florida

For and in consideration of 5the sum of Fifteen hundred dollars to us in hand paid
we hereby release relinquish and discharge Lot (3) Three of Block Four (4) of Range Three from
this lien created by this mortgage on this the 14th day of January AD 1884  H.F. Dutton & Co

full and complete satisfaction of this mortgage this the 8th day of February 1884
