D.C. Hart to H.J. Crane

County of Alachua } This indenture made and entered into
this 25th day of December AD 1882 between Daniel C. Hart
and Delphia A. Hart of the first part and H.J. Crane
of the second part witnesseth that in consideration of the
sum of eight hundred dollars in hand paid to the said
parties of the first part by the said parties of the second
party of the second part the receipt thereof being hereby
acknowledged the said party of the first part have bar-
gained and sold and do hereby convey unto the said
party of the second part all of that certain tract
or parcel of land situate in the State and County
aforesaid and known as part of Lot No ten (10) of
Moses E. Levy's twenty thousand acre tract in the
Arredeondo grant commencing at a point Forty (40)
chains north of the southern boundary Line and
Fifteen (15) chains west of the eastern boundary
line of said Lot No ten (10) running thence north
forty (40) chains thence West twenty five (25) chains
thence south Forty (40) chains thence east twenty five
(25) chains to the point of beginning containing one
hundred acres more or less To have and to hold the
above granted premises Together with all rights im-
provements or appurtenances thereunto belonging or other-
wise appertaining to the free and full use benefit and be-
hoof of the said party of the second part heirs ex-
ecutors administrators or assigns in fee simple forever
The said parties of the first part being lawfully seized
have full right to convey the above described prem-
ises and they will and their heirs executors administra-
tors and assigns shall warrant and defend all right
title interest and claim to the same in and to the
said party of the second part heirs executors
administrators or assigns against all lawful claims
what ever. Nevertheless if the said parties of the first
part shall pay or cause to be paid to the said party
of the second part or legal representatives the full
amount principal and interest when becoming
due of their certain promissory note executed
and delivered to the said party of the second
part for the sum of eight Hundred dollars
dated December 25th 1882 due 1884 with a reasona-
ble amount for lawyers fee if it should be necessary
to collect by law then this indenture Together with the 
said promissory note to be null and void otherwise
to remain in full force and virtue.

For and in Consideration of the full payment of the Sum of Money Secured
by this mortgage I hereby cancel and discharge the Same from record this 23rd
 day of April AD 1886                                   H.L. Crane
