of Florida for and in consideration of the premises
and of the sum of one dollar to us in hand paid
have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Wade A. Geiger
his heirs and assigns all the following described piece
parcel or tract of land to wit: All that certain lot of land
lying being and situated in the town of Gainesville in
Alachua County State of Florida lying due East of and
running north and south parallel to Lot No Thirteen (13) of
Ingrams addition to the Town of Gainesville and boun-
ded on the East by "Sweet Water Branch" and on the south
by the Atlantic Gulf and West India Rail Road
containing one and one half acres of land more or
less the same being the lot upon which are situated
my Foundry machine shops and mill Also the steam
Engine with the Boilers Shaftings Turning lathes Plow
ing machine Bearing machine Grist mill saw mill
with all of their machinery shafting Belting fixtures
appurtenances and appliances: Also all tools appurtenances
and appliances connected with said machine shop Foun-
dry and saw mill Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
To have and to hold the same unto the said Wade A. Geiger
in fee simple absolute forever Provided however and these pres-
ents are upon this express condition that if the said James
Doig his heirs or assigns shall well and truly pay
or cause to be paid the sum of money covenanted to be
paid by said note together with the interest to accrue
thereon according to the legal tenor thereof then this obligation
shall become null and void Else to remain in full force
and virtue and it is hereby further agreed and
stipulated that the said James Doig will pay all
expenses costs and attorneys fees which the said Wade
A. Geiger may be put to in enforcing the collection of
the afore said sum of money covenanted to be paid by
said note by foreclosure or otherwise In witness
whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed
our seals on this 3d day of February AD 1883.
