duly questioned and examined by me separate and
apart from said husband says and Acknowledges before
me that she did sign the said conveyance for the purpose
of releasing, relinquishing, and renouncing all of her right of
Dower in and to the land in said conveyance described
and that said relinquishment and renunciation of dower was
done and made by her freely and voluntarily and
without any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of
or from her said husband In testimony whereof I have

Alachua County   } Whereas we M.M. Gaston and Mrs
A.F. Gaston are justly indebted to Agnes M. Miller in
the sum of Two hundred dollars which said sum
of money is covenanted to be paid by one certain prom-
issory note having even date herewith for the sum of Two
Hundred Dollars with interest at the rate of Twelve
per cent per annum and to be paid on or before the
first day of June 1883. And whereas we are desirous of
fully and better securing the payment of said note and
the sum of money mentioned therein therefore know
all men by these presents that we M.M. Gaston and
Mrs A.F. Gaston for and in consideration of the prem
ises and of the sum of one dollar to them in hand paid
have granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Agnes
