Alachua County  }  Whereas I Thos E. Haile Senior
of Alachua County State of Florida am indebted
unto J.E. Thompson and E.V. Thompson merchants
and partners doing business in the city of Louis
ville in the State of Kentucky under the Firm name
of Thompson & Company " in the sum of nine hundred
and twelve dollars & 48/100 Dollars by my two promissory
notes bearing even date with these presents payable
in one and two years after date with interest from date
until paid at the rate of six (.06) per cent per annum
and being desirous of fully securing the payment of
said promissory note therefore the premises considered
know all men by these presents that I the said Thos
E. Haile Sr Together with Esther S. Haile his wife
have granted bargained sold aliened and convey
ed and by these presents do grant bargain sell
alien convey and mortgage unto them the said
Thompson and Company all of that certain
piece parcel or tract of land situated lying and
being in Alachua County State of Florida
described as being the north west quarter of
Section Nineteen (19) in Township Ten (10) South
of Range Nineteen (19) east in Alachua County
State of Florida containing one hundred
and sixty acres more or less Together
with all and singular the tenements heredit-
aments and appurtenances to the same belonging
