interest at (12) twelve per cent per annum from date
until paid and whereas we are desirous of fully and better
securing the payment of said note and the sum of money
therein mentioned Therefore know all men by these prese
nts that we the said Thomas N. Sewell and Mrs C.R.
Sewell his wife have granted bargained sold and conv-
eyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and
convey unto the said J.W. Coburn to his heirs and ass-
igns all the following described pieces parcels or tracts
of land- to wit. The south (1/2) half of the south west
(1/4) quarter of the South East (1/4) ofr section (29)
Twenty nine Township (9) nine South of Range (20)
Twenty containing (20) Twenty acres more or less All
of the above described lands lying and being in Alachua
County State of Florida Together with all and singular
the tenements herditaments and appurtenances thereunto belong
ing To have and to hold the same unto the said J.W.
Coburn to his heirs and assigns forever Provided
nevertheless and these presents are upon this express
condition that if the said Thomas N. Sewell
and Mrs C.R. Sewell his wife or either of them or their
heirs or assigns shall well and truly pay or
cause to be paid the sum of money covenanted to be
paid by their said promissory note to gather with
the interest to accrue thereon according to the legal
tenor and effect thereof then this obligation shall
become null and void Else to remain in full force
and effect and it is hereby further agreed and stip
ulated that he said Thomas N. Sewel land Mrs C.R. Sewell
his wife will pay all expenses, costs and attorneys fees
which the said J.W. Coburn may be put to in forc-
ing the collection of the aforesaid sum of money or
any part of it thereof covenanted to be paid by said
note by suit of foreclosure or otherwise In witness
whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affix
ed our seals on this the ___ day of February
