Alachua County } This Indenture made this 10th of
January 1883 between James D. Goss party of the first part
and W.A. Colclough party of the second part both of the
above State and County Witnesseth, that the party of
the first part for and in consideration of the sum one
dollar to him in hand paid by the party of the second
part as well as for the securing the payment of a note
herein after described has granted bargained, sold,
and conveyed unto the party of the second part
his heirs and assigns all of a certain tract of land
lying and situated in the State and County aforesaid
in section Eight, Township Ten South Range Twenty
East particularly described as follows to wit:
Beginning at a point thirty feet south of and
from the Center of the Florida Transit Railroad
Track which point is located twenty five feet West
of and from the Florida Southern Railroad Track
and running thence south thirty-four (34°} degrees
West Nine (9) chains and sixty Eight (68) links to a
stake Thence North Seventy Eight (78°) degrees, East
Nine chains (9) and Fifty 50 Links, thence North Six
(6) chains and Eighty (80) Links to a point Thirty
(30) Feet South of and from Florida Railroad Track
thence in a westerly direction along a line parallel
to and thirty Feet from the center of the said
Transit Railroad Track to the point of beginning
Containing by estimation Four acres and Eight
one hundredths of an acre more or less exclusive
of the right of way of the Florida Southern Rail-
way. To have and to hold the same thereunto the
said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns in fee simple and the party of the
first part do hereby covenant and agree with
the party of the second part that he is lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby

satisfaction and final discharge of this Mortgage
