south west quarter (E1/2 of SW1/4) The west half
of the South East quarter (W1/2 OF SE1/4) and the
East Half of the North West quarter (E1/2 of NW1/4)
of Section 31, and also the south East quarter
of the South west quarter (SE1/4 of SW1/4) of Section
30 All the described lands being in Township 7 Range
21, Containing Three hundred and six acres (306)
acres more or less To have and to hold the same unto
him the said Thos H. Jones his heirs and assigns
to his and their use forever together with all the
privileges and appurtenances to the same or in any
wise belonging Provided nevertheless that if the said
John T. Spriggs and E.M. Spriggs their heirs executors
or administrators shall pay or cause to be paid
well and truly unto the said Thos H. Jones his
heirs executors and administrators certain promissory
notes bearing even date with these presents and aggr
egating the sum of Five Thousand and one hundred
dollars Together with lawful interest of six per
cent on the said notes given as the purchase
money for the above bargained premises and the
said notes numbering Ten respectively ten Annual
installments for the payment of the said Five
Thousand and one Hundred Dollars the said
annual installments beginning in the first (1st) day
of January AD 1884, and ending on the 1st day
of January AD 1893, then this Deed to be null
and void otherwise of full force and the parties of
the first part hereby expressly waive any and
all right to dower or exemption In witness whereof
the parties have hereunto set their hands and affixed
their seals the day and year first herein written
