hundred dollars payable three years after date and
another one for Two hundred dollars payable four years
after date with interest from date at the rate of two per
cent per annum and whereas I am desirous of fully
and better securing the payment of said note and
the sum of money mentioned therein Therefore know
all men by these presents that I Burt C. Drake for
and in consideration of the premises and of the sum
of one dollar to me in hand paid have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said Ida E. Burnett
and her heirs and assigns all the following described
piece parcel or tract of land to wit: the west half of Block
Five (5) of Browns addition to the town of Gainesville
being in the north west quarter of section Five (5)
Township Ten (10) south range Twenty (20) S&E and
containing by estimation Five(5) acres more or less
Together with all and singular the tenements heredita
ments and appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and
to hold the same unto the said Ida E. Burnett in
fee simple absolute forever Provided however and
these presents are upon this express condition that
if the said Burt C. Drake heirs or assigns shall
well and truly pay or cause to be paid the sum of
money covenanted to be paid by said notes together
with the interest to accrue thereon according to the
legal tenor thereof then this obligation shall become
null and void else to remain in full force and virtue
and it is hereby further agreed and stipulated that
the said Burt C. Drake will pay all expenses costs
and attorneys fees which the said Ida E. Burnett may
be put to in enforcing the collection of the fore
said sum of money covenanted to be paid by
said notes by foreclosure or otherwise In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed 
my seal on this 2nd day of February AD 1883.
