the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or
in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder
and remainders rents issues and profits thereof And also all the
Estate right title interest Homestead Exemptions property possession
claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity of
the said parties of the first part of in and to the same and
every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances To have and to
hold the above granted and described premises unto the
said parties of the second part their heirs and assigns
to their own proper use benefit and behoof forever Provided
always and these presents are on this express condition that if the
said John H. Townsend his heirs executors or administrators
shall well and Truly pay unto the said parties of the second
part their heirs executors administrators or assigns the said sum
of money mentioned in said two certain notes and interest
according to the true interest and meaning of the indenture
by the first day of November AD 1883. Together with all costs
charges and expenses attorneys fees which the said parties of
the second part may incur or be put to in collecting the same
by foreclosure, that then these presents and the estate hereby
granted shall cease determine and be absolutely null and
void And the said parties of the first part for themselves
and their heirs executors and administrators do covenant
and agree to pay unto the said parties of the second part
their heirs executors administrators or assigns the said
monies described in this indenture and interest of notes
and all costs charges and expenses attorneys fees the parties of
the second part may incur or be put to in collecting
the same by foreclosure or any other manner they
may proceed in collecting the same In witness whereof
the said parties of the first part has hereunto set their
hands and seals the day and year first above written

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that
I Lucinda Townsend wife of the above named John H. Tow-
nsend do by these presents made and executed by me
separate and apart from my said husband and in the
presence of L. Harrison a Notary Public of State of Florida
at Large of the State of Florida acknowledge and de
clare that I did make myself a party to and executed
the foregoing mortgage deed for the purpose of relinquishing
my dower and right of dower and Homestead exemptions to
personal property also in and to the lands in said deed
described and mortgaged and that she did the same
