    R.F. Taylor to John M. Taylor
               "Mortgage"
State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Whereas the undersigned R.F. Taylor
is indebted unto John M. Taylor of the aforesaid
State and County in the just and full sum of one
thousand Dollars by promissory note bearing even date
with these presents payable Three years after date
and bearing interest from date payable annually
at the rate of Eight per cent per annum and whereas
we are desirous of fully and effectually securing the
payment of said promissory note Therefore the premises
considered know all men by these presents that we the
said R.F. Taylor and Amelia E. Taylor his wife of
the aforesaid State and County for and in consider
ation of the said sum of money so owing by
the said R.F. Taylor as aforesaid have granted
bargained sold aliened and conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell alien convey and
mortgage unto him the said John M. Taylor all of
that certain lot tract piece or parcel of land situated
lying and being in the Town of Gainesville in
Alachua County in the State of Florida particular
described as follows to wit: commencing at a stake
which stands Thirty (30) feet west of the north west
corner of the lot in said Town of Gainesville Florida
heretofore conveyed by the grantors herein to A.T.
Carlisle by Deed dated July 29th AD 1876, and which
is recorded in the public records of Alachua County Florida
at Pages 51 and 52, of Deed Book "J" thence from said stake
running west one Thousand one hundred and ten
(210) feet. Thence East one thousand three hundred
and sixty nine (1369) feet. Thence west Two Hundred and
forty (240) feet thence South one hundred and five
(105) feet to the place of beginning containing Six (6)
acres of land more or less = Together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to
the same belonging or in any wise appertaining - To have
and to hold the same unto him the said John M. Taylor
and to his heirs and executors administrators and assigns
forever Provided always nevertheless and this instrument
is executed upon this expressed condition that if the
said R.F. Taylor shall well and truly pay or cause
to be paid the full amount of the said promissory note
for the sum of one Thousand Dollars at the time and
date that the same shall fall due then this instrument
