 Bradford County } This indenture made and entered into
on this 18th day of January AD 1883 witnesseth that Jack
Daveis in consideration of the sum of $41.45 dollars already adv
anced by and now due to Rufus A. Peck by him the said
Jack Davis the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for
the further consideration that the said Rufus A. Peck shall
and will make such further reasonable amount of advances
in provissions merchandise and plantation supplies as may be necess
ary to enable the said Jack Davis to make harvest and prepare
for market his crops of all kinds during the year AD 1883 such
further advances not to exceed fifty dollars and for the
further consideration of one dollar in hand paid by these presents
doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Rufus
A. Peck and to his heirs and assigns all the right title int
erest and claim of Jack Davis the said R.A. Peck heirs
executors and administrators of in and to all the crops of
whatsoever species kind or description now growing or
which may hereafter at any time in the future be planted
grown or gathered by me or for me of for my benefit in
or off of any and all lands in Alachua County Florida until
the debt hereby secured with interest is fully paid also the
following described property to wit All lands titles of
lands title of lands ocupied or held by me & also
all horses mules cattle and in fact all stock of any de
scription and species all property of any description what
ever that I now own or may own hereafter T have and to
hold all and singular the crops lands and personal
property above bargained and sold unto the said
Rufus A. Peck heirs and executors administrators and assigns
forever. Provided nevertheless that if the said Jack Daveis should
well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Rufus A.
Peck the full amount of the advances heretofore made and here
after to be made with the charges for commissions and interest
on the same then this obligation to be void else to remain in
