property above bargained and sold unto the said
L.B. Peck her heirs executors administrators and assigns
forever Provided nevertheless that if the said Bery Gainey
should well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto
the said L.B. Peck the full amount of of the advances hereto
fore made and hereafter to be made with the f** com-
mission and interest on the same then this obligation
to be void else to remain in full force and virtue and
it is further agreed that all mounts heretofore and here
after advanced are due and payable upon delivery of the
goods therefor and shall bear interest accordingly and that
this instrument may be inforced at any time at the opt
ion of the said L.B. Peck and it is hereby further agreed
that should it become necessary to enforce this instrument
by legal proceedings the said Bery Gainey will pay
therefor all attorneys fees charges and expenses In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
seal this 17 day of January AD 1883.

This indenture made and entered into on this 17th day
of January AD 1883 Witnesseth that Adam Thomas in consid
eration of the sum of $8600 dollars already advanced by and
now due R.A. Peck by him the said Adam Thomas the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged and for the further consideration
that the said R.A. Peck shall and will make such further reas
onable amounts of Provisions merchandise and plantation
supplies as may be necessary to enable the said Adam Thomas
to make harvest and prepare for market his crops of all
