Alachua County } Whereas I J. Simonson am justly indebted
to John W. Weaver in the sum of Five hundred dollars which
said sum of money is covenanted to be paid by one certain
promissory note bearing even date herewith for the sum of Five
hundred dollars and whereas I am desirous of fully and better
securing the payment of said note and the sum of money mention
ed therein therefore know all men by these presents that I J.
Simonson for and in consideration of the premises and of the
sum of one Dollar to me in hand paid have granted bargain
ed and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and con-
vey unto the said John W. Weaver his heirs and assigns all the
following described peice parcel or tract of land to wit: Lot
No Eleven (11) Twelve (12) Thirteen (13) and Fourteen (14) the
same being subdivisions of what is known as lot no three (3)
of the north west quarter of sec Five (5) in Township Ten
(10) south of Range Twenty (20) East the same being a part
of what is known as Browns Addition to Gainesville each of
said Lots being one hundred and fifty seven and a half feet
from east to west by one hundred and fifty seven and a half
feet from north to south saving reserving and excepting
from said sale forever a parallelagram Twelve (12) feet
wide off of the North end or side of Lot Eleven (11) and
Twelve (12) for a road way or street Together with all
and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging To have and To hold the same unto
the said John W. Weaver in fee simple absolute forever
Provided however and these presents are upon this express
consideration that if the said J. Simonson his heirs or
or assigns shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid
the sum of money covenanted to be paid by said note
Together with the interest to accrue thereon according to the
legal tenor thereof then this obligation shall become null and
void else to remain in full force and virtue And it is hereby
further agreed and stipulated that the said J. Simonson
will pay all expenses costs and attorneys fees which the said John
W. Weaver may be put to in enforcing the collection of the afore
