money and interest as mentioned in said promissory note and sec-
ured to be paid as aforesaid and the said parties of the first
part hereby waive all right of homestead and exemption granted
by the Constitution and Laws of the State of Florida It being
understood and agreed that this mortgage is second and sub
ordinate to one of January 10 1882 made to Albert E. Acee to
secure to him the payment of three thousand one hundred
and fifty dollars payable January 10 1883 In witness whereof

tilda L. Seldon wife of F. Lewis Seldon the grantor herein
who after being by me first duly questioned and examined
by and before me separate and apart from her husband ack
nowledged that she executed the above foregoing mortgage
together with her husband for the purpose of relinquishing
and renouncing all her dower and right of dower in 
and to the lands therein mortgaged and that the same was
done freely voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband witness
her hand & seal this 15th day of March AD 1883.
