who being first duly questioned and examined by me separate
and apart from her said husband says and acknowledges before
me that she did sign the said conveyance for the purpose of
releasing relinquishing and renouncing all the right of Dower
in and to the land in said conveyance described and that
said relinquishment and renunciation of Dower was done
and made by her voluntarily and without any compulsion
constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband

  This Indenture made this third day of March AD one Thous-
and Eight hundred and eighty three between James D. Goss of
the County of Marion State of Florida of the first part and
Edna A. Pearson of the City of Malden of the County of Middlesex
State of Massachusetts of the second part witnesseth that the said 
party of the first part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by
these presents doth grant bargain sell convey and confirm to the said
party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever all the
following pieces parcels or tracts of land situated lying and being
in the County of Alachua State of Florida and described as
follows viz Lot Number thirty one (31) & the south one half (S1/2)
of lot numbered eighteen (18) in section Twelve (12) Township
numbered nine (9) south of Range numbered Twenty (20) East
containing Thirty acres more or less located in the town of Fairbanks
