according to the legal tenor thereof then this obligation
shall become null and void else to remain in full force and
virtue, And it is hereby further agreed and stipulated that
that the said Arthur Simmons will pay all expenses
costs and attorneys fees which the said James S. Pardue
may be put to in enforcing the collection of the aforesaid
sum of money covenanted to be paid by said notes by
foreclosure or otherwise. In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal on

Alachua County   } This indenture made and entered
into on this the 6th day of February AD 1883. Witnesseth
that Eli B. Rogers for and in consideration of one
hundred dollars already advanced by and now due
the firm of Turner and Butler of Levyville Levy Co
Florida by the said E.B. Rogers the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged and for the further consideration
of one dollar in hand paid by these presents doth
grant bargain sell and convey unto the said firm
of Turner & Butler and to their heirs and assigns
all the right title interest and claim of mine the
said E.B. Rogers my heirs executors and admin
istratiors of in and to all crops of what ever species
kind or description now growing or which may
at any time in the future be planted grown
