       S.D. Tillman To Augustus Monroe
                  "Mortgage"
State of Florida }
 Alachu County   } This Indenture made the 18th
day of May AD 1881. Samuel D. Tillman & his wife Della Till
man parties of the first part & Augustus Monroe of the
second part whereas the said S.D. Tillman is indebted
to the said Augustus Monroe by one promissory note 
of which the following is a copy to wit On the first
day of January AD 1882 for value received I promise
to pay to the order A. Monroe the sum of one
hundred and eighty Dollars dated this 18th day of May
AD 1887.    Signed              Samuel D. Tillman
Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said parties of the
first part for the better securing the payment of the
said promissory note and also in consideration of
one dollar paid by the party of the second part have
granted bargained sold & released & conveyed and
by these presents do grant bargain sell & release
convey & confirm unto the party of the second
part his heirs & assigns that certain undivided
right title Interest and estate which the party of
the second part by his deed dated the 18th day
of May AD 1881, confirmed unto the said S.D. Till-
man in & to the certain lots & Parcels of Land situ
ated in the County of Alachua State of Florida
and known Deeded as lots numbers East half of
the south West quarter Section One Township (10) Ten
south of Range (22) Twenty Two East. To have & to
hold the above described Premises unto the party of
the second part his heirs and assigns as fully as
