all of that Certain lot tract or parcel of land situated
lying and being in the County of Alachua in the State of
Florida particularly known and described as follows to wit
Commencing at the South West Corner of the North East
Quarter of section Twenty three (23) Township Eight (8) South of
Range Twenty one (21) East and running due East four hun-
dred and fifty five (455) feet to the grade of the (so called)
Tampa Rail road; thence in a North Westerly direction on the
line of said rail road four hundred and fifty five (455)
feet; and from thence in a South Westerly direction to the
place of beginning (excepting a strip twenty four (24) feet
wide along the last named line said Strip being reserved
for a public highway) Containing by estimation two acres
of land more or less. Together with all and Singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the
Same belonging or in anywise appertaining. To have
and to hold the Same unto her the said Sarah E. Chadwick
and to her heirs executors administrators and assigns
in fee simple absolute forever.
And we the said Emma Whittenburg and Frank Whit-
tenburg do hereby Covenant and agree to and with the
said Sarah E. Chadwick that we are lawfully Seized in
fee Simple of the property herein and hereby Conveyed
and that we have good and lawful to sell and Convey
the same that the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs
executors and administrators shall and will forever war
rant and defend the same unto her the said Sarah
E. Chadwick and to her heirs executors administrators
and assigns against the lawful claims and demands
of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or
hereafter to claim the same.
Nevertheless it is to be considered and the Condition of
the foregoing deed is such that if the said Emma Whittenburg
and Frank P. Whittenburg or either of them or their legal
representatives shall well and truly pay unto the said Sarah
E. Chadwick her heirs and assigns the Sum of One
hundred and Sixty ($160) Dollars with interest at the
rate of ten percent per annum interest to be paid
semi annually as specified in their note of even date
herewith payable Eighteen (18) Months from date: - and
shall have and keep the buildings on the foregoing des-
cribed premises insured by some good and reliable
Fire Insurance Company in a Sum not less than
one hundred and fifty ($150) Dollars payable in Case
of loss or damage of said buildings to the said Sarah
E. Chadwick "as her interest may appear" then the fore-
going deed is to be void and of no effect otherwise to

final discharge and complete satisfaction and payment of this mortgage this the
20th day of April AD 1883            }
