Emanuel Johnson to S.R. Barnes

 Alachua County  } This Indenture made and entered
into on this 23 day of March AD 1883, witnesseth that
Emanuel Johnson in consideration of the sum of Twenty
dollars already advanced by and now due to S.R. Barnes the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for the further con
sideration that the said S.R. Barnes shall and will make
such further reasonable amount of advances in provisions
merchandise and plantation supplies as may be necessary
to enable the said Emmanuel Johnson to make harvest and
prepare for market his crops of all kinds during the years
AD 1883, such further advances not to exceed fifty dollars
and for the further consideration of one dollar in hand
paid by thes presents doth grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said S.R. Barnes and to their heirs and assig
ns all the right title interest and claim of his the said
Emanuel Johnson his heirs executors and administra
tors of in and to all the crops of whatsoever species kind
or description now growing or which may hereafter at any
time in the future be planted Grown or gathered by me
or for me or for my benefit on or off of any and all lands
in Alachua County Florida until the debt hereby secured
with interest is fully paid also the following described prop
erty to wit To have and to hold all and singular the
crops lands and personal property above bargained and 
sold unto the said S.R.Barnes his heirs executors administr
tors and assigns forever Provided nevertheless that if the
said Emanuel Johnson shall well and Truly pay or cause to be
paid unto the said S.R. Barnes the full amount of the advance
s heretofore made and hereafter to be made with their
charges for commissions and interest on the same then
this obligation to be void else to remain in full force and
virtue And it is hereby further agreed that all amounts
heretofore and hereafter advanced are due and payable
upon delivery of the goods therefore and shall bear inter
est accordingly and that this instrument may be forced
at any time at the option of the said S.R. Barnes and
it is hereby further agreed that should it become neces
sary to enforce this instrument by legal proceedings
the said Emanuel Johnson will pay therefor all reas
onable attorneys fees and charges In witness whereof I
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the
day and year first above written
