 Alachua County  } Wheres we Godfrey Jerue and P.A.
Jerue his wife of Taylor County State of Iowa are just
ly indebted to Samuel C. Tucker Trustee in the sum of 
Twelve hundred dollars which said sum of money
is covenanted to be paid by Three certain promissory note
bearing even date herewith one for the sum of Four hundr
ed dollars payable on or before the first day of January 1884
one for Four hundred dollars payable on or before the first
day of January AD 1885 and another note for the sum of Four
hundred dollars payable on or before the first day of January
AD 1886 Interest payable annually with interest from date at
the rate 8% per annum and whereas we are desirous of fully
and better securing the payment of said notes and the sum 
of money mentioned therein Therefore know all men by
these presents that we Godfrey Jerue and P.A. Jerue his wife
for and in consideration of the premises and of the sum of
one Dollar to us in hand paid have granted bargained and
sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said Samuel C. Tucker Trustee his heirs and assigns
all the following described piece parcel or tract of land to wit
lying and being in Alachua Co & State of Florida and par
ticularly described as follows to wit commencing at a stake
on the south Boundary line of section (21) Township Ten (10)
Range (19) S & E running North Two chains and seventy five
links to a stake the point Thence north 30°
West Eight Chains and fifty Eight links to a stake to
within sixty feet of Florida Rail Road thence East 60° North
six (6) chains and thirty two and a half (32 1/2) links to a stake
thence south 30° East Eight Chains and fifty Eight links to a
stake thence West 60° south six chains and thirty two

For and in Consideration of Four hundred and Twenty one 33/100
Dollars the amt due on this mortgage I hereby cancel and dis-
