Horace Camnel To W.L. Jackson

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that I Horace Cammel of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida for and in Consideration of the 
sum of twenty dollars ($20.00) to me in hand paid and
duly paid by W.L. Jackson Merchant of the town of
Archer County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof
I do hereby acknowledge have this day bargained
sold and delivered to the said W.L. Jackson Merchant
one gray horse name Bunk to have and to hold the said
described horse unto W.L. Jackson merchant his heirs
and assigns in fee simple forever.
Provided Nevertheless the within is Considered in the na-
ture of a Mortgage and Lien to Secure the payment of
twenty dollars ($20,00) this day advanced to the said Horace
Camnel for the purpose of making and gathering said
crop it is also understood that the said Horace Cannel
shall have the use of the said described horse until the
first day of November AD 1883 to make and Gather said
described Crop as specified it is further understood that
in default of the payment of the said described ($20.00)
on the first day of November AD 1883 the within is
Considered a "Boni Fide" bill of sale and W.L. Jackson
merchant his heirs or assigns are duly empowered to
take peaceable possession of Same and it is also un-
derstood that in the event of the death of said horse
that the said W.L. Jackson does by these presents have a
statutory lien upon any general growing Crop for the pay
ment of the said Twenty dollars waiving the benefit
of the homestead Law I do hereby affix my hand and
seal this the 30th day of March Anno Domini 1883
