Alachua County   } This Indentbure made and entered
into this Nineteenth day of Feruary in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty Three be-
tween John H. Sanders of the County and State aforesaid
of the first part and Saml B. Slaughter of the same
place of the second part. Witnesseth that the Said party of
the first part for and in Consideration of the Sum of Five
hundred dollars lawful money of the United States of
America to me in hand paid by the party of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant
bargain sell and Convey unto the said party of the sec-
ond part his heirs and assigns all that Certain tract or
parcel of land lying and being in said County and State
and more particularly known as the SE1/4 of NE1/4 Sec 36 T9 S
R14 E his entire Crop for the year 1883 also one Cream
mare named(Vick) about about fourteen years also one
Mouse Colored mare mule named (Kit) age Seven years
also Thirty head of Stock Cattle marked over slope and
under bit in one ear Crop & half Crop in the other branded
(46) also one two horse waggon and harness also one Buggey
& harness also household & kitchen Furniture and farming im-
plements also Fifty eight head of Stock hogs marked split
in one ear and under bit in the other & one hundred Bu Corn
To have and to hold the Same unto the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns forever and I do
Covenant with the party of the Second part that I have
good right to Sell and Convey the Same that they are free
from all encumbrances and that I will warrant and
forever defend the Same to the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and de-
mands of all persons whomsoever claiming. Provided
the said John H. Sanders his heirs and assigns shall
