A.S. Proskey To James Case
"Mortgage"
Know all men by these Presents that I Alexander
S. Proskey in Consideration of the sum of Two hun-
dred and fifty dollars in hand paid by James Case
do bargain Sell Convey and warrant to said James Case
and his heirs the following lands situated in Alachua
County State of Florida (to wit} the NE1/4 of NW1/4 of
Section (31) Town (8) Range (22) the Same being Eighty acres
more or less. Provided always that these presents are
upon this Condition that the said J.C. has loaned to the
said A.S.P. the Sum of two hundred and fifty dollars
Cash in hand for the space of one year from the date
hereof said money to draw ten per Cent interest from
this date for one year if paid by A.S.P. Sooner then he
is to pay fifteen per Cent from the date hereof but said
amount is to be paid in one from this date together
with the interest - Now if the said A.S. Proskey shall pay
said Sum of money according to the agreement herein to
the said James Case or his legal representatives when
the same becomes due with the interest then these presents
to be void otherwise to be in full force and effect
in law. In Testimony whereof the said A.S. Proskey
has hereunto set his hand and seal this the 7th
