"Cancellation of Mortgage"
Know all men by these presents that I, Sarah
A. Stewart (Widow) as administratrix of & for the estate
of Richard A. Stewart, deceased, late of Marion County
State of Florida, and a sole heir at law of the said
Richard A. Stewart Deceased for and in consideration
of the sum of Three Thousand Dollars to me in hand

paid by James^Brown of Alachua County Florida,
do hereby acknowledge full and complete satisfaction set-
ttlement and payment of that certain Indenture of Mortgage
together with the notes secured thereby, given by the
said Jas B. Brown, on the 7th Day of July AD 1877 to the
said Richard A. Stewart for the sum of ($3000)
Three Thousand Dollars on and upon those lots,
tracts or parcels of land lying and being in Alachua
County Florida and known and described as follows,
to wit: The North half of Blocks (1) one & (5) five, in Block
(3) Three, Range (4) Four, Block (3) Three, Range (5) five,
in the Town of Gainesville, and known as the stable
lot and Residence lot of the said J.B. Brown in said Town,
as appears of record in the records of Alachua County
Fla in Mortgage Book "D" on pages 856 and 857
And do by these presents authorize empower and direct the Clerk
of the Court of said County of Alachua and keeper of the records
thereof, to Cancel the said Mortgage upon the said records
Hereby releasing and forever quit claiming to the said
Jas B. Brown all my right, title, claim or demand of
whatsoever nature in and to the same held, owned and
controlled by me as administratrix as aforesaid or as
heir at law as aforesaid. Witness my hand and seal this
