Mortgage as Administratrex of and for the estate of
Richard A. Stewart, Deceased, and as heir at law
of the said Richard A. Stewart Deceased, in the man
ner and for the uses & purposes therein set forth and
expressed

Alachua County   }  Know all men by these presents that
for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and fifty
($250) Dollars, to me in hand paid. I, John R. Bevill have
this day bargained sold and delivered to him the said James
R. Crawford the following property to wit: Fifty head of stock
cattle, marked "a sharp in each ear and Dewlaped up"
situated and being in the said County and State. To have and
to hold unto the said James R. Crawford his heirs and assigns
free from all encumbrances the said described property against
the Claim or claims of each person or persons whatsoever.
 Provided always, that if the said John R. Bevill shall
well and truly pay or cause to be paid a certain promis
sory note bearing even date herewith and bearing even date here
and due One day after date for the sum of Two hundred &
fifty ($250) Dollars, according to the tenor and effect thereof
then these presents to become void otherwise to remain of
full force and effect. And should this have to be collected by legal
process, I agree to pay all costs.
    In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this tenth Day of April AD 1883
