To John Rose
"Mortgage"
Whereas, We, Ella
Lambdin and M.L. Lambdin are justly indebted to
John Rose in the sum of Three hundred Dollars and due
and payable Two years after date thereof with interest from date
at the rate of 10% per annum the interest to be paid semi
annually on the 16th Day of October and April of each year res
pectively of each year. And whereas we are desirous of
fully and better securing the payment of said note and the
sum of money therein mentioned Therefore know all men
by these presents that We, Ella Lambdin and M.L.
Lambdin, her husband, for and in consideration of the
premises and the sum of one dollar to us in hand paid
have granted, bargained, and sold and by these presents do grant,
bargain, sell and convey unto the said John Rose this heirs
and assigns all the following described peice parcel or tract
of land to wit: Lying and being in Alachua County
Florida, Described as follows: One lot of land adjoining
the town of Melrose on its Western limit, and on
a map of a recent survey by W.L. Sims as Lot No _____
and bounded by the following lines: Commencing at the
West side of quail street in said town & at the Bella-
my Road thence running North Eighteen Chains
and Seventy five links to Santa Fee Lake.
Commencing again at same place of beginning and
running west to the South West corner of Lot two
chains and forty (40) three links, thence North Twenty chains
and fifty links, to Santa Fee Lake, and containing
five acres and Seventy Seven hundredths of an acre
said lot being a portion of Section Thirteen (13) Town
ship Nine (9) South of Range Twenty Two (22)
East__________ Together with all and singular the tene
ments hereditaments and appurtenances therewith belonging
To have and to hold the same unto the said John Rose in
fee absolute forever. Provided, however and these presents
are upon this express condition that if the said
heirs or
Ella Lambdin and M.L. Lambdin her husband their^as
signs shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid the
sum of money covenanted to be paid by said note together
with the Interest to accrue thereon, according to the legal
tenor thereof then this obligation to become null and void
otherwise to remain of full force and virtue. And it is
hereby further agreed and stipulated that the said Ella
Lambdin and M.L. Lambkin her husband will
pay all expenses, costs and attorneys fees which the said
John Rose may be put to in enforcing the collection

For and in consideration of the full payment of the note secured by this
Mortgage I hereby cancel and discharge the Same from Record this May
