     Virginia Forrest and Husband To Cornelia Jones
                       "Mortgage"
This Indenture made the Tenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and eighty three Between Virginia Forrest (married) and Thomas
J. Forrest her husband of the first part and Cornelia Jones of the second
part. Whereas the said parties of the first part are Justly indebted to Cornelia
Jones of the second part in the sum of Four Hundred ($400-) Dollars lawful
money of the United States of America the same being specified in one certain
promissory note of even date herewith in the sum of Four Hundred ($400-) Dollars
due and payable at Waldo Fla Two years after date with interest at
(10) ten per cent per annum payable Semi-annually until paid.
Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for
the better securing the payment of the said sum of money mentioned in
The said note for ($400) Four Hundred Dollars and also for and in
consideration of the sum of Four Hundred Dollars to them in hand 
paid by the said party of the second part at or before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and
confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien remise
release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and
her heirs and assigns forever All that certain piece or parcel of
land known as the North East quarter of the North East quarter
of the South East quarter of Section Twenty three In Township
Eight South of Range Twenty one East Containing ten acres
more or less (NE1/4 of NE1/4 of SE1/4 Sec 23-T8S of R21E)(10 acres}
Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and
