species kind or description now growing or which may hereafter at
any time in the future be planted grown or gathered by me or for
me of for my benefit on or off of any and all lands in Alachua County
Florida until the debt hereby secured with interest is fully paid also
the following described property to wit One mule Named "Ned"
one Single Horse Wagon and this instrument is to have the full
force and effect of a Mortgage and of a lien under the provisions of
Chapter 1739 Laws of Florida entitled an act to enable indigent persons
to obtain credit and secure the lender To have and to hold all and
singular the crops and personal property above bargained and sold
unto said firm of F.H. Butler & Co and to their heirs executors
administrators and assigns forever Provided nevertheless that if the
said J.B. Erisman shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto
the said F.H. Butler & Co the full amount of the advances heretofore
made with their charges for commissions and interest on Same then
this obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue. And
it is hereby further agreed that all amounts heretofore advanced are
due and payable upon delivery of the goods therefore and shall bear
interest accordingly and that this instrument may be enforced at any
time at the option of the said F.H. Butler & Co and it is hereby further
agreed that should it become necessary to enforce this instrument by
legal proceedings the said J.B. Erisman will pay therefore all
reasonable attorneys fees and charges

Joseph W. Coburn of No 115 Dartmouth Street in the City of Boston in
the State of Massachusetts by my promissory note for the sum of
Five Hundred and Eighty ($58000) Dollars which note bears date the
First day of April AD 1883 and is payable Five (5) years after its date
