State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this 3rd day of
Alachua County } February AD 1883 between Mrs Mary F. Shaw and Jesse M.
Shaw her husband who Joins in this deed of Mortgage for the purpose
of ratifying and confirming the act of his wife of the first part and
J.D. Matheson as Trustee for Elise W. Haile of the second part all of the
State and County aforesaid Witnesseth That the said parties of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred and Sixty dollars
to them paid by the said party of the first part the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by
these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the
second part all those certain lots tracts pieces or parcels of land lying
and being situate in the State and County aforesaid in Township Eight
to wit Beginning at the South West corner of the "Sanchez Grant" of
Five Hundred (500) acres and running thence North Twenty five (25º)
degrees East along the North western boundary line of the said Sanchez
Grant Twenty five (25) chains. Thence South Sixty five (65º) degrees
East Thirty one chains and Twenty (31.20) links (more or less) to the line
dividing sections Twenty five (25) and Twenty six (26) in Township Eight
(8) south Range Eighteen (18) East Thence South along said Section line
Twenty Eight (28) chains (more or less) to where said section line
intersects the Southern boundary line of the said "Sanchez Grant" Thence
North Sixty five (65º) degrees West along the said boundary line of said
"Grant" Forty three chains and Fifty (43.50) links (more or less) to the
