point and running in a Northwesterly direction Seven (7) chains (more 
or less} to the half mile Stake on the line running North and South through
center of Section Twenty Six (26) in said Township and Range and
running thence South along said half section line Twenty (20) chains Thence
East Thirty two (32) chains (more or less) is the Southern boundary
line of the said "Sanchez Grant" Thence North Sixty five (65ยบ) degrees
West along said "Grant" line Thirty one (31) Chains (more or less) to the
point of beginning containing Thirty (30) Acres (more or less) to the
total contents of the two adjoining tracts One Hundred and Twenty
acres (120) more or less. To Have and To Hold unto him the said party
of the second part and to his successors in the Trust and assigns
in fee simple absolute. The condition of this conveyance is such That
whereas the said parties of the first part have this day purchased
from the said party of the second part the above described tracts or
parcels of land and have made and delivered unto the said party
of the Second part their two joint and Several promissory notes
bearing even date with these presents for the sum of Two Hundred
and Thirty ($23000) dollars each and bearing interest from date at
the rate of Eight per cent per annum one of said notes being due and
payable on or before the first day of January AD 1884 and the
other on or before the first day of January AD 1885. The said notes
representing the unpaid portion of the purchase money agreed to be
paid for the lands herein before described. Now if the said parties of
the first part shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid 
unto the said party of the second part the said sums of money
mentioned in the said promissory notes at or before the maturity
of said notes according to the true intent and tenor thereof then
this conveyance to become and be entirely null and void, else to
remain in full force virtue and effect

Alachua County   } I hereby certify that on this 3rd day of February AD
1883 before me personally came Mrs Mary F. Shaw wife of Jesse M. Shaw
one of the Mortgagors in the foregoing mortgage deed who upon being
duly questioned and examined by me separate and apart from
her husband says and acknowledges before me that she executed
the said mortgage deed freely and voluntarily and without any
compulsion constrain apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
and that she did the same for the purpose of renouncing and releasing
any and all right whether as Separate property dower or other interest that
she may or might have have in or to the land in said mortgage deed described
